Tips for a Successful Photo Session
1. Clean and Declutter
Make sure your home is clean and free of clutter. This helps create a more inviting and spacious appearance in the photos. Clear off countertops, tidy up shelves, and remove any unnecessary items from the rooms.
2. Stage Your Home
Consider arranging furniture and decor in a way that highlights the best features of each room. Small touches like fresh flowers, neatly arranged pillows, and stylish accessories can make a big difference. Please note that I won’t be able to clean or stage your home during the shoot. If you require these services, they can be provided for an additional fee.
3. Maximize Natural Light
Open curtains and blinds to let in as much natural light as possible. Natural light makes rooms look brighter and more inviting. If the shoot is scheduled for a time when natural light is limited, ensure all lights in the home are working and turned on.
4. Highlight Key Features
Think about what makes your property special. Whether it's a beautiful view, a cozy fireplace, or a spacious backyard, make sure these features are clean and ready to be photographed.
5. Outdoor Preparation
Don’t forget the exterior! Mow the lawn, trim bushes, and tidy up any outdoor spaces. Remove any personal items, toys, or garden tools from the yard to ensure a clean and attractive look.
6. Secure Pets
If you have pets, it's a good idea to secure them in a safe space during the shoot. This prevents any disruptions and ensures the photographer can work efficiently.

Store personal items like family photos, medications, and valuables out of sight. This helps potential buyers envision themselves in the space without distractions.
